Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly an operational reality in the field of counter-terrorism. To examine how AI continues to reshape counter-terrorism institutions, decision making, and operational, including with regard to its responsible use, this CT Week side event will explore and identify strategic priorities for Member States in adapting counter-terrorism policies and cooperation frameworks to the opportunities and risks posed by artificial intelligence.
The event, organized by the European Union, India, Japan and the United Arab Emirates in cooperation with UNOCT and UNICRI, will foster a shared understanding of the strategic implications of AI for counter-terrorism and will serve as a basis for continued engagement with partners under a broader strategic framework.
