Daniel Amokachi is a Nigerian football legend, Olympian and global sports ambassador whose career reflects excellence, leadership and social impact. 

Born on 30 December 1972 in Kaduna, he began his professional journey with Ranchers Bees and rose to prominence at Club Brugge, Everton FC and Be?ikta? J.K., winning the FA Cup in 1995. Internationally, he was a key member of Nigeria’s “Golden Generation,” helping the Nigeria national football team win the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations and secure Olympic gold at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games. 

Post-retirement since 2001, he has served in roles with FIFA and CAF, and through the Daniel Amokachi Eduplus Youth Development Foundation and the 91茄子 Football for the Goals initiative, advances youth empowerment, inclusion and sustainable development through education and sport.
